Wheel thrown and hand crafted bowl
I imprinted with my hand-carved stamp on wheel thrown piece to make a patterns and fire at 1945F. Once it fired, I painted with underglaze, wiped it off, glazed and fired at 2232F again. As the 3rd fire, I hand painted with 22 ct gold lustre and fired to 1300F to create bright shiny gold Hummingbirds and flowers.
Cone 6 stoneware with underglaze, glaze and 22 ct Gold Lustre
Measure approximately 2” tall X 6 1/4" wide (without handle 5 1/4") and holds approximately 12 fluid ounces.
No microwave and dishwasher. Hand washing is recommended to extend the life and beauty of the glazes.
